All patients
- ensure medical clearance from cardiologist, respiratory physician etc, if required prior to surgery, in order to ensure fitness for surgery
- STOP blood thinners, non steriodal medications, fish oil, mushroom extract 7 days prior to surgery; otherwise your surgery will be rescheduled
Public patients
- please complete the patient registration either in paperform or via online link sent to email
- once submitted or completed, your name will be added onto the public hospital waiting list
- the hospital bookings will be in contact if/ when you are required to attend Pre-Admission Clinic (PAC) and for surgery
Private patients
- please check the item number(s) with your health fund to ensure you are covered for the procedure prior to surgery

follow up with GP in 7-10 days for wound review
please read the instructions and information provided in the surgical folder provided at time of
follow up with Dr Lee in rooms 6 weeks post surgery, earlier if any concerns
