About Dr Joanna Lee, Neurosurgeon

Dr Lee is an Australian trained and qualified Neurosurgeon at Mater Hospital and holds an appointment as both Neurosurgeon and Pain Fellow at Liverpool Hospital. 

Her interests are general Neurosurgery (Spine, Neuro-oncology) and Pain Medicine (Spine, Neuromodulation).

She spent 2 years in Biomedical Science at Monash University before going on to complete her undergraduate medical studies from the University of Melbourne in 2003. 

She then undertook Neurosurgical training in Sydney, obtaining RACS fellowship in Neurosurgery in 2014. 

Dr Lee is currently completing a Fellowship in Pain Medicine at Liverpool Hospital. She is a fellow of RACS, member of the Neurosurgical Association of Australia and International Association of Pain. 

She is also fluent in spoken conversational mandarin.
